What is DPM ?
Often times heating and cooling systems are subject to wear and tear due to the changing seasons. Here at Dawson Heating & Air Conditioning we pay special care and attention to all units that we service. By joining the DPM program you receive priority calling when it comes to our emergency services, and you become a part of the Dawson family.
MAINTENANCE CHECKLIST
Maintaining your equipment may prevent future problems and unnecessary costs. Keep your cooling and heating system at peak performance by having a contractor do annual pre-season check-up. Contractors get busy once summer and winter come, so it’s best to check the cooling system in the spring and the heating system in the fall. Signing up maintain your equipment you receive discounts on service calls and parts.
ROUTINE CHECK UP
- Check thermostat
- Tighten all electrical connections
- Lubricate all moving parts
- Check and inspect the condensate drain
- Check and inspect the condensate drain
COOLING SPECIFIC
- Clean evaporator and condenser air conditioning coils
- Check your central air conditioner’s refrigerant level
- Clean and adjust blower components to provide proper system airflow
ACTIONS TO TAKE YOURSELF
- Inspect, clean, or change air filters once a month in your central air conditioner, furnace, and/or heat pump.
HEATING SPECIFIC
- Check all gas (or oil) connections, gas pressure, burner combustion and safety devices
